Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL intends to solicit Taylor Devices INC, 90 Taylor DR, North Tonawanda NY 14120-6894, on a sole-source basis for 3 each of Taylor Suspensions. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition because the government does not own the technical data package or specifications for these items. The Taylor Suspensions manufactured by Taylor Devices are the only such items that have been tested, certified, and approved by the US Navy. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333999, and the FSC Code is 2510, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity, Panama City Receiving Officer, 101 Vernon Ave., Panama City, FL 32407. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
