Description

Requirement Summary The U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado has a requirement for collection and disposal of waste products from the waste water treatment plant (Class B biosolid), grease traps, cesspools, septic tanks, oil/water separators and sand traps. Total tanks number approximately 125 ranging from 15 to 60,000 gallons. The wastewater treatment plant requires weekly pumping of approximately 22,000 gallons of biosolid while other tanks may only require one pumping annually. Service shall be on both a scheduled and on-call basis. Contractor must hold applicable federal and/or state disposal authorizations for Class B biosolid land application or composting. Sludge may not be disposed in a landfill. Additionally, contractor must hold Onsite Wastewater Systems Inspector certification from the National Association of Wastewater Transporters and not have any unresolved environmental violations. The contractor provides qualified supervision, technicians, transportation, equipment, tools, materials and other items or services as needed. Performance period is 6 years and 6 months (base period plus 6 options) from Apr 10 - Sep 16. Contract type is Firm Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment for diesel fuel.
