This acquisition to result in the award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for NSN 2950-01-470-1956, Base plus 4 option years, Estimated Annual Qty 108, OEM--Honeywell/Garrett Turbo, Cage 08179, Approved source--Deere & Co., CAGE 66836, P/N RE60074, Unrestricted, other than full and open competition, Commercial--to be purchased using FAR Part 12 procedures,, FOB Dest, Inspection/acceptance Origin, NOT Critical Safety Item, NO surge required, NO drawings are available. Quantity variance of plus or minus 5%. “A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. The solicitation issue date is 19 Feb 2010. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
