Description

The VA VISN 15 Contracting Office has a requirement for Reusable Sharps Containers and Medical Waste Removal Services for the Jefferson Barracks and John Cochran Divisions of the St. Louis, MO VA Medical Center. Contractor shall supply all sharps containers, mounting brackets, single and double mobile carts, crash carts and bulk transport carts needed to provide a reusable sharps management program. Contract will be for a base period of one year estimated to begin Janaury 1, 2010 through December 30, 2010 with option to renew four (4) additional one-year periods. It is anticipated the solicitation will be posted on or about November 20, 2009. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 562112 and the size standard is $12.5 million. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461 as codified in 38 U.S.C. 8127 (d), this acquisition is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). SDVOSBs shall be registered as an SDVOSB at www.vetbiz.gov prior to being considered for award.
